Salem Baptist Church is located in Shelby County, Kentucky nestled in the small town of Southville.
History
Salem Baptist Church (originally named Beech Ridge) since January 19, 1811. Organized on the southwest corner of the Southville intersection in the home of Sister Sarah Dugan, with 19 charter members, the chuch was constituted in September 1872. Salem became a member of Shelby Association which was organized in Salem Church.
Mission
The mission of proclaiming Christ in the Southville vicinity and "unto the uttermost parts"
